Our Apparatus
On this page, we will highlight our apparatus that we use day to day to facilitate fire, EMS, and rescue calls throughout the borough. Each apparatus has key tools and functions that are suited to keep our communities and responders safe and healthy
Ladder 34

Get to Know Ladder 34
Ladder 34 is our first due apparatus for all fire calls involving residences, business, etc. This truck is a 1999 American La France. It carries an Arial Innovations 75' Ariel Ladder, with a 400 gallon water tank and a 1500 GPM pump.

Get To Know A-30
A-30 is our first due ambulance and responds most frequently throughout the borough. It is a 2015 Ford E-250.
Engine 31

Get To Know Engine 31
Engine 31 (E31) responds first due to all fires that are not structure related, including all Seaview Harbor incidents. Engine 31 is a 2004 American La France which carries 750 gallons of water with a 1500 GPM pump, as well as extrication and other special equipment.
Rescue 33

Rescue 33 (R33) is our utility style vehicle that responds primarily to beach and rescue incidents. With its four-wheel-drive members are able to respond directly to water and beach related incidents. It also responds to many other calls.
Marine 3

Get To Know Marine 3
Marinee 3 (M3) is our ex Coast Gaurd boat that we use for on the water rescues and fire operations. It is a 25 foot SAFE Boats Defender series, with a water monitor on the front and other technology to assist our marine operations.
Car 30

Get To Know Car 30
Car 30 (C30) is a 2009 Chevy Suburban and is our "chiefs car" and is used as a mobile command center for incidents of any size.
A-31
Get To Know A-31
A-31 is our "spare" ambulance and is used especially on Fourth of July-during our American Mile, and on other busy days of the year, so that we can run two ambulances if staffing is available. It is also used during snow, flood, and task force activations.
