Fire Suppression

The department is equipped to handle various types of fires, including residential and commercial incidents, aiming to minimize property damage and protect occupants. Additionally our fire boat allows us to assist other departments in different type of fire and rescue incidents on land or sea

Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

In addition to fire response, the department provides emergency medical care. Volunteers are trained to assess and treat medical emergencies with compassion and expertise. We have members of both EMT and EMR status's to ensure our community is well cared for.

Community Engagement

The Longport Volunteer Fire Department is committed to educating the community about fire safety and prevention. Through outreach programs, we aim to raise awareness and promote a safer environment for all. In addition to this we assist with many community events including, open houses at the fire house, beach concerts, beach bonfires, community lunch-ins, etc.
